How do I opt to collect from my primary school?
If your school is a veg box collection point then ask your school for the access code to be able to collect your box from the school. Input this code while you are ordering via our website, in the section just after you input your home address. This will ensure your box goes to the right collection point and your school project will also receive 8% of the sales that are collected from the school.
What day do I collect my veg box?
Thursdays after school.
Can I choose home delivery instead?
Yes, if you live within our delivery area there is a £2.50 home delivery fee, and your school will not receive 8% of the sale.
Langtons Farm is an Organic market garden based in Crickhowell, run by Katherine and David Langton and our four employees, Owain, Sian, Hawk and Fin.
We also have a second farm in Ceredigion that is "Organic in Conversion", meaning it has been Organic for one year and has one more year until it is fully Organic certified.
We also work with lots of other Organic farmers in Wales and the boarder counties to fill in any gaps in our production, and occasionally UK organic suppliers when local supply is really short.
What does Organic mean?
Organic essentially means "without reliance on synthetic chemicals". In order to be able to use the word Organic, a farm must be registered and inspected by an Organic control body. We use the Welsh Organic scheme, but there are others like Organic farmers and Growers, and the Soil association. Organic is a system of farming and food production. Organic farmers aim to produce high-quality food, using methods that benefit our whole food system, from people to planet, plant health to animal welfare.
What about the school holidays?
Each school will have a different way of distributing boxes in the school holidays, we will communicate directly with you about where your box safe place is and where you can collect it from. You can also pause your veg box for any weeks you are away don't need a box via your online veg box account and the "edit pauses" button. Don't forget to click save after editing.

Local and Organic fresh food should be accessible to ALL, especially our precious children. Please do not let finances be a barrier.
